Our commitment to growing subcontractor and supplier diversity stems from our community participation program.
Key elements of this plan include:
Structuring bid packages to allow for maximum participation consistent with the availability of DBE firms.
Maintaining and monitoring subcontractor reporting and reinforcing project goals throughout the project.
Conducting open houses and consultations to explain the bid packages, schedule, and process to the interested bidders throughout the procurement process.
Communicating and advertising opportunities via faxes, e-mail, web-based postings, and telephone follow-up contacts.

Our commitment runs deep. Yohn Baldwin co-chairs the Workforce and Professional Development Committee of the Oregon Columbia Chapter, American General Contractors Association. The committee’s work includes a strong focus on improving diversity in the contracting industry, local, state and at a national level.
