Albany Fire Station #12

This project consisted of expansion of the apparatus bays, building additions to kitchen and administrative office spaces and structural seismic improvements including seismic strengthening of the existing wall assemblies and the installation of hold-down’s throughout the building, tying the wood structure to the concrete foundation. New electrical service was brought in from across the street and an oil-water separator were constructed to bring the building up to current code and a new exterior cladding system was installed to replace the existing vinyl siding. Mechanical, electrical, casework and finishes were included in the new construction and replaced in affected portions of the building.
