DJ Architecture

Baldwin General worked with DJ Architecture as a design build team in an interactive process to achieve the goals defined for their new office building. Sustainable building practices are exemplified in this innovative structure built to LEED standards. The zinc panels on the exterior provide a maintenance free natural cladding solution that will last the lifetime of the building. Steel I-beams support the cantilevered green roof for the entry canopy.A solar array is located out of sight on the high roof section of the building. High-end class A finishes are found throughout the interior including dramatic, polished black-concrete floors with exposed glass aggregate and patterned control joints filled with yellow epoxy, precast concrete counter surfaces, embossed copper and zinc wall coverings and clear story window walls.
