With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Baldwin General Contracting President, Yohn Baldwin, recently reflected on what has made the company a success over the years in building across the Pacific Northwest and by looking ahead as Baldwin continues to build a better way forward.
“So often I am asked, ‘How did Baldwin become what it is?’, and my answer is, ‘By good old fashioned hard work’,” Yohn explained.
“The people who work here are the company…there is no distinction. The incredibly difficult and dense amount of work that is done everyday is because of the people.”
In a video interview and spotlight created by Reverie Creative, Yohn shared more on what goes into making Baldwin a special company that remains a trusted source when it comes to meeting your building needs.
“How we deliver success for our client is by open, consistent, and timely communication. That’s one of the biggest values our group can bring to the table. It builds that trust and respect,” Yohn added.
Baldwin’s workload lately speaks volumes about the dedication and attention to detail being put into each project. In a matter of months, Baldwin took an old brewery and revamped it into the newly opened Philomath Family Medicine in February thanks to the dedicated work of Varitone Architecture, the hardworking subcontractors at Baldwin.
You can add the completion of the new Kiefer Mazda in Eugene to Baldwin’s long list of successful builds. Along with opening the doors to their incredible staff this past January, one of the parts about this build is the car lift displayed in a jewel boxes glass room that can lift up to the second story window to be seen from the road.
Projects including LaQuinta Hotel in Centralia, Washington, the Clackamas Education Service District, and Grand Ronde Elder Housing are also progressing nicely. It’s yet more examples of how Baldwin is bringing projects to life, one build and day at a time.
