How Baldwin General Took An Old Brewery And Turned It Into The New Philomath Family Medicine

What a difference seven months can make and a brand new space can make.

Last August, Baldwin made headlines in the Willamette Valley with the major building revamp and roll out of the new Philomath Family Medicine in Philomath, Oregon complete with a 7,600 square feet spread that includes a large lobby, more space for training, and a memorial area for loved ones, among other notable features.

“We get to talk with the doctors and the staff and just hear how happy they are…from where they were before to this new building and to see this dream come to life,” said Justin Puente, Project Manager for Baldwin.

In a matter of months, Baldwin subs like Smith Glass, Sunset Stucco & Exteriors, LJ Pearson Construction, Old Mill Cabinets, and Harvey and Price Plumbing took an old brewery and turned it into an accommodating healthcare facility with updated amenities. Thanks also to the efforts and work of Albany-based Varitone Architecture, the unveiling in February of Philomath Family Medicine was yet another chance for Baldwin to place a focus on projects that truly serve the community.

“This really became about how do we reposition and reorientate this building so that it is perfect for health care,” explained Silia Sequeira, an Interior Designer at Veritone.

Go inside Baldwin’s latest addition to the long list of successful builds, complete with quality craftsmanship, comfortable patient rooms, staff work stations, and all of the amenities needed to care for a community in this new healthcare facility.

“They turned it into a building that looks very nice and professional,” added Mike Davenport, Director of Infrastructure at Philomath Family Medicine.

“They did that spectacularly. As far as I am concerned, this is probably the finest building we have in the fleet of buildings that we use.”
